Nurvana Aesthetics & Wellness

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of nurvanamd.com (formerly beautyloungemed.com) and our online shop, bookings, and subscriptions (the “Site”). Your health information is covered separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices, and care delivered remotely by our Telehealth Informed Consent. By using the Site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Medical information and disclaimers

Information on this Site is general and is not medical advice. It is published for education and is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis or treatment by a licensed provider who knows your history. No provider–patient relationship is created by browsing, reading, submitting a form, or messaging us. That relationship begins only when a licensed provider accepts you for care after a clinical evaluation.

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Statements on this Site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Individual results vary. Any outcome, figure, timeframe or image on this Site describes an individual experience and is not a promise, guarantee or prediction of your result. Testimonials reflect the experience of the individual giving them and are not typical of every patient. Before-and-after images are of actual patients who consented to their use, are unretouched except for cropping and lighting normalization, and are not a representation that you will achieve the same outcome.

Links to other sites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content.

2. Who provides your care, and who fills your prescription

Nurvana Aesthetics & Wellness, formerly Beauty Lounge Med Spa (“Nurvana”), is the name used by two companies. E&JW Enterprises, LLC dba Nurvana Aesthetics & Wellness is the management services organization (the “MSO”) and provides administrative, technology and non-clinical support services. Medical services are provided by LPMD of CA, PC, a California professional medical corporation doing business as Nurvana Aesthetics & Wellness under a fictitious name permit, through licensed medical providers practicing in the states where they are licensed. The MSO does not practice medicine and does not control clinical decisions. Nurvana does not operate a pharmacy, does not dispense prescription medications, and does not compound or manufacture any product.

Compounded medications

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. A compounded medication is not a generic version of, and is not therapeutically equivalent to, any FDA-approved drug, including any drug marketed under a brand name. No compounded product offered through Nurvana is manufactured, labeled or branded by Nurvana.

How a prescription is issued

A prescription is issued only if a licensed medical provider determines, after a clinical evaluation, that a medication is medically appropriate for you. Each compounded prescription is patient-specific. Submitting an intake, paying a consultation fee, or requesting a medication does not guarantee that one will be prescribed.

How a prescription is filled

Prescriptions are routed to a pharmacy in our fulfillment network based on your state, your provider’s licensure and product availability. Every pharmacy in that network is licensed in good standing by its state board of pharmacy and is licensed or registered to ship into the state where you receive care. Where a medication is prepared by a 503B outsourcing facility, that facility is registered with the FDA and is subject to FDA inspection. 503A pharmacies are regulated primarily by their state boards of pharmacy and are not routinely inspected by the FDA.

Because the network changes with licensure and supply, we do not publish a fixed list. The pharmacy that fills your specific order is identified by name and license number on your medication label, in your documentation packet, and in your patient portal before your order ships. You may contact us at any time to ask which pharmacy filled a given order, or to verify its licensure.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book services, make purchases, or start a subscription. By using the Site you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

  • Prices, product availability, and promotions are subject to change and may contain errors; we may correct errors and cancel affected orders.
  • Your order is an offer to buy; a purchase is accepted when we process payment and/or ship or fulfill it.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes and any shipping fees are shown at checkout.
  • Some products, for example prescription or clinical items, require eligibility review and a provider’s approval before fulfillment.

5. Refunds, returns, and cancellations

What you are entitled to depends on what you bought. Where a rule is set by law rather than by us, we say so.

Consultations and medical services

A consultation fee pays for a licensed provider’s clinical evaluation and time. It is not refundable once that evaluation has taken place, whether or not a medication or treatment is prescribed. A provider declining to prescribe is a clinical outcome, not a failure to deliver the service you paid for. If you pay for a consultation and no provider review takes place — for example, you withdraw before your intake is reviewed — the fee is refunded in full.

Prescription medications

Prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed. This is a legal requirement rather than our preference: a dispensed prescription drug cannot be returned to a pharmacy’s stock or re-dispensed to anyone else. This applies to compounded medications in the same way. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, or is affected by a shipping failure, contact us and we will arrange a replacement with the dispensing pharmacy at no cost to you. If you experience a side effect, contact your provider before stopping treatment.

Retail products

We ship to addresses within the United States unless stated otherwise, and title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier. Unopened retail products in resalable condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method. Opened products may be returned only if defective. Shipping charges are not refunded except where an order was sent in error. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened topical or personal-care products, devices that contact the skin, or any product requiring refrigeration.

Packages and prepaid services

Prepaid packages are refundable in proportion to the services not yet used, less the list price of any services already received. Contact us to request a package refund and we will calculate the remaining value with you.

How to request a refund

Email admin@beautyloungemed.com or call (831) 251-6264 with your order number. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before disputing it with your card issuer — we can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback, and an open dispute suspends our ability to service the order while it is being reviewed.

6. Memberships and subscriptions

Membership plans and Subscribe & Save deliveries renew automatically until you cancel, and you authorize us to charge your payment method on that recurring basis. Before you subscribe, we disclose the price per cycle including any subscription discount, the billing or delivery interval you selected, and that the plan renews automatically until cancelled. After you subscribe we send written confirmation of the same information together with instructions for canceling.

You can skip, pause, change the interval, or cancel at any time from your patient portal, without calling or emailing us, or by contacting us at admin@beautyloungemed.com or (831) 251-6264. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep your benefits until then. We do not refund a billing period that has already started, we do not refund a delivery already shipped, and we do not charge a cancellation fee. Prices may change with advance notice, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

7. Gift cards

Gift cards are redeemable toward eligible products and services, are not reloadable unless stated, are not refundable, do not expire, and are not replaced if lost or stolen without proof of purchase. Where a gift card’s remaining balance falls below $10, California law entitles you to request that balance in cash.

8. Appointments, deposits, and cancellations

Certain bookings may require a deposit or prepayment. Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and late fees, and how deposits are applied, are described at the time of booking and in our clinic policies. Prepaid services and packages are subject to the terms disclosed at purchase.

9. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, images, logos, and design — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or use it for unlawful purposes.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nurvana from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
